Our Commitment to Making a Difference

Our commitment to the community runs deep. Since our relocation from Catonsville to Baltimore in 2011, our sole purpose has been to support citizens grappling with the multifaceted social challenges prevalent in urban areas. Our journey began with a heartfelt decision: to be a beacon of hope and assistance for those in need.

While emergency food distribution remains our primary focus, our dedication transcends these boundaries. We firmly believe that nourishing the community involves more than providing just canned and dry goods. Our aim is to offer a wide array of nutritious options, including poultry, seafood, beef, and fresh vegetables—foods that we, ourselves, would want to eat. This commitment to quality reflects our deep respect for the dignity of every individual we serve.

Beyond our immediate center, we join forces with schools, social service agencies, and private organizations, all united by a common goal: alleviating the struggles faced by those living below the poverty line. We believe in forging partnerships that amplify our impact, working hand-in-hand with organizations such as the Maryland Food Bank, Food Lion Corporation, Balt City Department of Social Services, Balt City Child Protection Services, and the USDA. Our mission is not limited to distributing food; it's about creating a holistic support system for our community.

Furthermore, our commitment to senior citizens is unwavering, as we diligently deliver truckloads of food to residential centers. This is our way of ensuring that our most vulnerable community members are cared for. All of this is made possible by our remarkable team of volunteers, who selflessly contribute their time and effort. Together, we aspire to make a lasting difference in the lives of our community members, strengthening the bonds that hold our community together.
