Our Business Journey and Commitment

Best Emergency Food Distribution Center in Baltimore

Welcome to the Harvest Emergency Food Distribution Center, a compassionate subsidiary of Soul Harvest Church and Ministries. Our journey began in 2011 when we made the heartfelt decision to relocate from Catonsville to Baltimore, with a singular purpose: to be a beacon of support for our fellow citizens contending with the various social challenges that often burden urban communities.

While our primary focus revolves around emergency food distribution, our dedication extends far beyond this core mission. We've cultivated invaluable partnerships with esteemed organizations such as the Maryland Food Bank, Food Lion Corporation, Balt City Department of Social Services, Balt City Child Protection Services, and the USDA, among others.

At our Food Center, we aim not only to distribute essential canned and dry goods but also to provide individuals with the same high-quality, nutritious foods that we ourselves enjoy. This commitment means offering a diverse array of options, including poultry, seafood, beef, fresh vegetables, and much more.

We are proud to collaborate with local schools, social service agencies, and private organizations that cater to a demographic of individuals living below the poverty line. Our mission is to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.

Our dedication extends further, as we not only serve those who come to our center but also deliver truckloads of food to senior citizen residential centers, ensuring that our most vulnerable community members are cared for.

What makes us truly unique is that we are a 100% volunteer organization. Every effort, every act of kindness, and every meal provided is a result of the unwavering dedication of our incredible volunteers.
